HTML IntroductionThis course assumes nothing more than a knowledge of what the web is and the kind of
things you would like to achieve with it. HTML is the fundamental language of the web, so this
course begins at the beginning but by the end of its one day you will be producing good looking
pages and understanding the concepts.
Developing Web Applications Using C# and ASP.NetASP.Net is Microsoft's key technology for developing web applications. Central to ASP.Net
is the concept of code-behind where developers can treat a page as a collection of .Net objects.
This course teaches all you need to develop sophisticated web applications using
C#, the .Net Framework and database access as well as
ASP.Net. It also touches on related technologies such as web services and the Windows
Communication Foundation (WCF). If you already have experience in your preferred .Net
language then a shorter course can be arranged.
ASP.Net AJAXThis 4 day course teaches you how to write Rich Internet Applications using AJAX in an
ASP.Net environment. It covers the use of the basic AJAX tools, the additions provided by
the ASP.Net AJAX Control Toolkit, interacting with server-side code and services, and
the AJAX architecture.

Creating Web Pages using HTML and CSSThis two-day course starts by covering the same ground as our HTML Introduction day but
also covers the essential subject of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Modern web pages use HTML
for the content but CSS for its appearance, so that the two concepts are separated and the
appearance of your site can be easily changed without modifying the HTML content. The course
also includes an in-depth coverage of tables, introduces forms and covers the 'correct' use
of HTML to make your pages accessible and visible to search engines.
Web DevelopmentThis 5 day course takes you through all aspects of web development, starting with the
basics of HTML and CSS, adding JavaScript and AJAX, and ending up introducing the basics of
server-side development and databases. After this course you will have a good grounding in
all the relevant technologies.

JavaScriptHTML and CSS provide the basics for building a web page, but JavaScript is what makes
it come to life. This course covers the concepts, the language and its use for things like
input validation before moving on to more interactive aspects such as dynamic html and AJAX.
The full course is 3 days but variants can be given over 1 or 2 days depending on your
experience and requirements.
